A little about our Doctor.
I was born and raised in Ventura, California, a city right on the coast about an hour north of Los Angeles. After graduating high school, I went to Utah to attend Brigham Young University and to experience living in a place where it isn’t 72 degrees every day. In 1999 I left BYU for two years to serve a Spanish-speaking church mission in the far-away land of Denver, Colorado. I enjoyed spending my days immersed in the Latino culture and I truly fell in love with this area.
In 2001, I returned to BYU where I met the lovely Jackie who I married in the summer of 2002. We had our first child, Hailey, in 2004, and I graduated later that year with a degree in Business Management. We then headed off to Los Angeles where I attended dental school at UCLA. We made lots of fun memories in LA—winning the Showcase Showdown on the Price is Right, catching a Barry Bonds homerun ball, our daughter being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on American Idol, and mixing it up with Howie Mandell on Deal or No Deal. We also had three more children there, Ashley, Tyler and at last a girl, Rylee Georgia.
In 2008 I graduated dental school and headed to the Oregon Health and Science University for a residency in orthodontics, the field I knew I wanted to be in since before dental school. The Pacific Northwest is beautiful, and we enjoyed the ocean and the mountains being so close. It also taught us how much we love and really missed sunshine, which made Colorado a prime place to come and practice.
We just arrived in Colorado at the end of 2010 and we love it here! My wife loves the great communities, my kids love playing in snow, and I have a great practice in Aurora. When I’m not working I love spending time with my family and playing just about any sport. I have enjoyed working with Comfort Dental and staff. I look forward to the years to come!
